The students of Saint Mary's were invited to participate in the Christmas Shoe Box Appeal this year. Team Hope’s annual shoe box appeal campaign delivers gifts directly to children who are affected by poverty. Often these shoeboxes are the only gift that a child will receive at Christmas. Since 2010 over 2.5 million gifts have been delivered to vulnerable children across the world.

The Student Council worked hard to inform the other students of the campaign and collect the shoeboxes that were donated. We are so proud to announce that we received over 500 shoeboxes in school along with the online boxes that students made. The enthusiasm surrounding the Shoe Boxes was great to see with one class collecting 47 boxes!
