Our Senior Infant class had a wonderful time celebrating World Book Day. We are so proud of all of the children and the fantastic effort they made with their costumes. Our classroom was filled with a wide range of characters: from Peter Pan and the Queen of Hearts to Rapunzel, the Princess and the Pea, Dogman and many more. The classroom was full of colour and creativity.
Each child also brought in the book their character came from and told the class a little about their story and why they chose that character, it was lovely to see their excitement and enthusiasm about books and reading. They also stole the show at the World Book Day costume parade!
Well done to all the boys and girls (and parents!) for the effort they put into making World Book Day so special. We had a very enjoyable and memorable World Book Day in Senior Infants!
