What a fantastic sight in Mount Eden and Belmont this morning for National COW Day (Cycle on Wednesday)! Look at all the bikes—amazing turnout!
The obstacle courses are ready too, and they’re sure to bring lots of fun. The Green School Committee will be busy today carrying out cycle surveys and counting all the bikes. We’ll let you know our total bike count as soon as possible.
We’ll be submitting our numbers to Green-Schools / An Taisce later today—and with any luck, we might even win a prize or two!
A big thank you to all the parents and teachers for their encouragement and support in this campaign to promote cycle awareness and make it fun! And of course, thanks to the children for their great effort today and throughout the week—keep it up!
