Wellbeing Week Poems i Rang a Sé

25th Sep 2025
Be Kind
by Ella

Be kind to yourself,
and everyone else.
You don't know what is going on in someone else's head,
So be careful what is said.
Be kind to your mind,
And slowly in time,
You'll feel better inside,
And soon your problems will be fine.

When you're feeling small,
Just stand up tall,
Shoulders back and go to Mak!

Wellbeing
by Cara

When you're up against trouble,
just pretend you're in a bubble.
If you had a bad day,
just let your thoughts float away.

Take deep breaths 1...2...3...4
sit down and relax more.
Chill, take a break
find out what you really appreciate.

Be kind, be the person you really are inside.

Let Your Troubles Go Away
by Arlo

When things get hard and don't go your way,
let your troubles float away.
Don't let the bad impact your day,
go lay down, take a breather
and let the bad float away.

My Poem
by Harry

so when you're feeling down, it's like you've lost your crown
you act like a clown, your name is a noun
this poem doesn't make any sense
it makes me kinda tense
but when the sadness tries, to look you in the eyes
I don't know what else to put here,
'cus Mati is banging his waterbottle and it's piercing through my ear.
He might've hit me with a ruler and I think I shed a tear,
wait am I feeling down?
Damn, guess I'm the clown,
I should read this poem again to turn my frown upside down :)

Feelings
by Charlotte

When you feel a bit of fear,
It's best to face it thinking of goodness near,
When you face your problems, try not to shiver,
But sometimes it feels good to let your lips quiver.

Sometimes it feels good to cry,
Just let some tears escape your eyes,
But what's important is to stay standing strong,
and apologise if you did wrong.

Sometimes all it takes is a bit of patience,
To rid your worries, try meditiation.
Breathe in, breathe out, calm your mind,
And let the peace fill your mind.

Bubble
by Caoimhe

When you're up against a trouble,
don't let it burst your bubble.
When you have a bad day,
go and play.
When your troubles are near,
don't shed a tear.
Just let it fly away,
don't make someone else pay.
When you feel sad,
it isn't too bad.
Just go have some fun,
and maybe bake some buns.
Don't get into a fight,
just live your life.
And remember everyone is unique just like you,
Now I'm going to have some fun, yes, you too!

Wellbeing Poem
by Mati

When you're up against a trouble
Fight through all the rubble.
Meet it face first
But punch it fist first
See the situation through
No one tells you what to do
But after all that fighting
You will find a calm version of you.

Wellbeing
by Abigail

We are very small
but the things in our heads
could fill up the sky.

Be kind to yourself,
And everyone else,
You don't know what is going on in someone else's head
So be careful what is said,
Be kind to your mind
And soon in time
You'll feel better inside
and your problems will be fine.

Cheer Up
by Casper

When things are hard, sometimes you feel down,
you may feel bad, may feel like a clown,
when things get even worse you just need to stop
calm it all down, and suddenly you're back on top

and if you try to change yourself, you just need to see,
don't let anyone else tell you who you need to be,
and if you try to find a better version of you, you have to realise,
when you look in the mirror it is right in front of your eyes.

Wellbeing Poem
by Kiran
If something doesn't go your way. Let your thoughts flow away.
If you're up against a trouble. Don't let it burst your bubble.
If you are in fear. It's ok to shed a tear.
If you are sad, sit back and relax.
If you are angry, you don't have to pout,
just breathe in and out.

Poem for Wellbeing
by Evie & Isobel

Talk to some buddies or cuddle a pet
So your worries feel like less of a threat
If you feel like a little cry
Don't worry you'll be fine
if you have good friends that will stay to the end
they will make you feel special
like you just won a medal
if you need to feel safe, have a little space
take a deep breath and lighten your mood.

Blues
by Jessie

Breathe in through your nose
and out through your mouth,
you don't need to shout
and no need to pout.

Feelings are new
they can make you feel blue
but sometimes it feels good to tell someone too
or maybe just neat to put on your shoes to go for a walk
and rid the blues.

Wellbeing
by Ivy

If you're feeling down,
don't make anyone else frown,
If you start to cry,
don't tell a lie,
just let it out,
try not to shout,
sit down and breathe,
soon you'll feel at ease.
So wait a while,
then you'll start to smile,
And soon when you are done,
Just have some fun!
