We had an exciting visit from Agri Aware’s Farmer Tom, who brought the farm to our school. Ms Finnegan’s 1st class were thrilled to meet all the animals, including Popcorn the Goat, Daisy the Cow, and a group of friendly pigs—one of whom was named Peppa! The children were especially amazed when they got to see the hens lay an egg right before their eyes. Farmer Tom taught us all about how animals are cared for on the farm and the important role they play in producing our food. It was a hands-on learning experience that the children will never forget!
