What a busy month we’ve had with our return to school after the summer holidays! Here are some highlights from the last few weeks.
Birthdays Happy Birthday to all the children who celebrated turning 8 in the last few weeks.
Maths We’ve been working really hard and using our new maths materials to help us which we have loved.
Writing As we are focusing on procedural writing, we created spells that would turn Ms O Callaghan into a goat. Don’t worry, none of them worked!
Art We did a lot of work on colour mixing and used our knowledge of mixing colours to draw and paint some beautiful parrots.
Wellbeing Week Last week we all designed the cover of our wellness journals which we wrote in every day. We will continue to use these journals as the year goes on. We were very lucky to be joined by Mr. Joynt who did a yoga class with us, we felt very relaxed afterwards.
