Ms. Finnegan’s First Class had a wonderful time planting potatoes in the school garden. The children were eager to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty as they carefully placed the seed potatoes into the soil. They learned about what plants need to grow and how to look after them over time. Everyone is now excited to watch their potatoes sprout and grow, and they can’t wait for the day they get to harvest what they planted themselves. We are looking forward to our potato party at the end of June already.
