In Mr Murray’s class, we had a great surprise. We got caterpillars!
When they arrived, they were very small. We checked on them every day as they ate and grew bigger. It was interesting to see how much they changed.
After a while, the caterpillars made their chrysalises. They stayed very still, and we knew they were getting ready to change.
Then one day, the butterflies came out. They had colourful wings and looked brilliant. We were all excited to see them.
When they were ready, we brought them outside to our Belmont garden. We let them go, and they flew off into the sky.
We really enjoyed watching them grow and change.
It was a great experience for our class. 🦋
