There was great excitement in our class yesterday as when we returned from the Easter Holidays, our Butterflies had emerged from their chrysalises! We loved watching them throughout the day and even gave them names!
We had great fun when we went outside to release them. 4 of the 5 of them were a little bit shy in flying away so we safely placed them on some flowers and the fifth butterfly flew away. We ran after it and waved goodbye! The boys and girls were so sweet and used positive affirmations to encourage them saying 'you can do it' 'we believe in you'. It was so cute to see!
