Ms. O’Donnell’s Sixth Class had a wonderfully busy week celebrating Creative Week in the lead up to Lá Fhéile Vailintín.
The boys and girls took part in a wide range of fun and imaginative activities. They explored the art of origami, created beautiful nature art, designed colourful Valentine’s artwork, and enjoyed lots of creative drawing. They also used Book Creator to bring their ideas to life digitally, combining writing, art and technology in their own unique way.
The highlight of the week, however, was definitely baking delicious Mars Bar Rice Krispie squares! There was great excitement in the classroom as everyone worked together to measure, mix and create their tasty treats. Baking is fantastic for promoting creativity and gives children a wonderful sense of achievement when they see (and taste!) the finished product.
Well done to all the boys and girls for their enthusiasm and creativity throughout the week. Lá Fhéile Vailintín Sona daoibh go léir! 💕
