We were very fortunate today to have the opportunity to work with Gabi McGrath, our Creative Associate from the Creative Schools programme. Gabi brought along all the materials needed for felting and led a workshop with each junior infant class to create some small individual pieces.
The children did lots of rolling, dipping, and squeezing using their little hands, sheep’s wool, soap, and water to produce beautiful felted creations. They learned some exciting felting techniques and had a wonderful time exploring this creative process.
