We’ve had a very busy and exciting time in our class the last few weeks! We celebrated Alice’s birthday, which was lovely, Jamie shared a wonderful story he wrote, whilst Hellen told us all about her adventures with Blu! Nicole and Péigí also told us all about their Picker Pals adventures.
We have been learning about the artist Jackson Pollock and created our own artwork inspired by his unique style. The children really enjoyed exploring colour, movement, and creativity through art.
Our current theme is Estate Agents and it has been great fun. We were delighted to welcome Anne-Marie and Emily from DNG, who came in to talk to us about their work. Since then, the children have been enjoying estate agent role play every day. We have been learning so much about homes and buildings and are really enjoying designing and making our own houses.
We also had a visit from Mark, who came in and taught us skipping skills. Everyone had great fun practising and improving their coordination and fitness. It was really enjoyable and we learned lots!
