We were thrilled to welcome Cameron from the FAI to our school recently as part of the Futsal in the Yard programme. Our 4th Class pupils got the chance to learn and play futsal – a fast-paced, skill-focused version of football that's perfect for developing close control and quick thinking.
The children loved every minute of it, and their skills and confidence grew with each session. As an added bonus, the FAI kindly gifted us four futsal balls so we can continue the fun and keep practising at school.
A huge thank you to Cameron and the FAI for bringing such a fantastic programme to our yard – we’re already looking forward to the next kickabout!
