Dancing and planting in Ms Finnegan and Ms Grace’s class
Ms Finnegan and Ms Grace’s Senior Infants have been having a wonderful time learning and exploring with the help of our 6th class students!
To celebrate Irish culture and have some fun together, the Senior Infants took part in an exciting Irish dancing session with 6th class. The older students were fantastic teachers, helping the younger pupils learn some basic steps and rhythms. There was lots of laughter, music, and great teamwork as everyone danced together.
The fun didn’t stop there this week! Senior infants started their planting for the year. They planted stawberries and onions. Our potatoes are nicely chitting on the windowsill and we are looking forward to planting them in coming weeks ready to harvest before the summer break. Everyone got their hands a little muddy while learning about how plants grow.
Well done 🥳
