Christmas is Coming!
We have had such a busy and exciting time in Senior Infants the last few weeks!
We have been learning all about the post office and had great fun in our post office role-play corner, where the boys and girls practiced writing letters, sorting post and delivering special messages around the classroom.
Oscar and Lucy brought in their Picker Pals packs and told us all about the rubbish they collected to help keep our environment clean. We were so proud of their hard work and great responsibility.
Arthur brought Blu on lots of wonderful adventures and shared all the exciting stories with the class.
In Science, we made our own shakers and experimented with different materials. We had lots of fun comparing the sounds and deciding which were loud, soft, rattly, or smooth.
One of our biggest highlights was our trip to the panto in the Mill Theatre. It was so much fun, we loved the show Hansel and Gretel and it was great excitement getting the bus there!
We also posted our own letters with invitations to our school play and then performed our Christmas play for our families yesterday. All the boys and girls were absolutely amazing – we are so proud of them all!
Our class elf, Elfie, has also been up to lots of mischief! We love trying to see where he's ended up every morning!
