Over the last few weeks we have been very busy in our classroom. We celebrated Oscar’s and Jamie’s birthdays, which was great fun as they enjoyed popping the balloons on the board. We have also been enjoying sharing science experiments for Science Week. Jimmy, Oscar, Candy and Cian brought in various experiments to share with the class and today we tried the Skittles experiment which we loved watching and talking about.
Candy and Rosie shared the wonderful activities that Blu got up to during his adventures with them. It was lovely to see all the photos and hear about the fun they had together.
In Maths, we have been learning all about shapes. The children have especially enjoyed making pictures using 2D shapes and exploring how different shapes can fit together to make new ones.
We are also starting to get excited as rehearsals for our Nativity Play have begun. The children are already practising their songs and lines and we can’t wait to share the performance with you in a few weeks time!
