What a wonderful week of running and being active we’ve had at Mt. Eden! Each morning during Active Week, our school grounds came alive with the sound of feet hitting the pavement and lots of happy chatter as families gathered for our Daily Mile.
From Junior Infants all the way up to 6th Class, the children showed great enthusiasm and energy. It was especially heart warming to see so many parents and guardians joining us each morning at 8:15, running (or walking!) alongside their children. The sense of community and support was truly special.
There was a real buzz around the place all week, it honestly felt like a mini Dublin Marathon! The children were so proud to take part and showed fantastic commitment and teamwork every day.
A huge thank you to everyone who came out and got involved. You really helped make it a fun and active start to each day – and a week we won’t forget any time soon.
