Transition Year Work Experience

Each year, St. Mary's N.S. receives a growing number of applications to facilitate Transition Year Work Experience. While we endeavour to facilitate students, we regret that we cannot facilitate all such applications due to the large volume of requests received. Please note the following points:

Priority will be given to past pupils of St. Mary's N.S.
Priority will be given to those with a genuine interest in pursuing a career in teaching, or in Special Needs Assisting
Applicants over the age of 16 at the time of their placement are required to be Garda Vetted
Applications for TY work experience must be made at least 4 weeks in advance of your placement
Placements will be appointed on a first come, first served basis
We will endeavour to respond to your request within two weeks of submission of this form
