Well-Being Talk with Fiona Forman: Building Resilience from the Inside Out
We were delighted to welcome Fiona Forman, renowned author, speaker, and well-being educator, for an engaging and inspiring talk on resilience and emotional well-being. As part of our Build Your Resilience and Well-Being Check-In initiatives, Fiona shared practical strategies rooted in positive psychology to help students develop lifelong tools for managing stress, emotions, and challenges.
Her message echoed the powerful words of Frederick Douglass:
“It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken adults.”
Fiona’s session reminded us that investing in the emotional and mental well-being of young people isn’t just important — it’s essential. By equipping students with the skills to understand and regulate their emotions, bounce back from setbacks, and build healthy relationships, we’re laying the foundation for stronger, more resilient individuals now and into the future.
