Ms Francis' Second Class were lucky enough to be invited to Pembroke Library to meet author Shane Hegarty this week! Shane told us about how he comes up with his ideas for books and he made us laugh a lot. He read part of his book 'Boot' that we are reading in class and he even read out parts of our own writing. We had fun creating Halloween costumes for 'Boot' to show Shane and he found it funny to see his character dressed up!
