Every Thursday, Sixth Class has been swapping the classroom for the court for a 45 minute tennis lesson—and what a smashing time we’re having! We’ve been incredibly lucky to enjoy tennis sessions at St. Mary’s Tennis Club, a fantastic local facility that we’re so fortunate to have right on our doorstep.
The fresh air, fun games, and friendly rallies have quickly become a highlight of our week. Whether it’s learning how to perfect a serve or simply running around with friends, everyone is getting stuck in and loving the chance to try something new.
A huge thank you goes to Laura Mooney, who has been leading our sessions with such energy, patience, and skill. Her encouraging coaching style, clear guidance, and genuine enthusiasm have made every Thursday something to look forward to.
