We sowed carrot seeds and planted onion bulbs today in our school garden. First we did some weeding and found some gigantic worms and massive roots. We nicknamed Siobhán 'Siobhán-iana Jones' because she found the longest root. Zander found the biggest worm and we called it Chad. Sofia, Mary, Clara and Lexi used rulers to measure 10cm between each onion bulb. Tara made some signs so other students will know what we planted. We are going to have to keep weeding the area. We are looking forward to June when we can harvest our vegetables.
