In our first week of Senior Infants, we had a wonderful surprise—Magic Playdough! Each child was given a ball of plain white playdough and a special rhyme to say. As they began to squish, roll, and press their playdough, something amazing happened… colours started to appear!
Magic playdough, you’re so white
I’ll make a wish with all my might
That as I play and start to squish,
You’ll change colour and grant my wish!
If a colour starts to show
Then I’ll be sure to know
That this school year will be just great
So let’s get playing, I can barely wait!
The magic playdough showed us that this school year is going to be full of fun, friendship, and exciting adventures. It was a magical way to begin our journey together in Senior Infants, and the classroom was filled with smiles, laughter, and a sprinkle of wonder.
