What a wonderful day we had exploring the National Gallery of Ireland and enjoying the sunshine in Merrion Square!
We saw paintings by Monet, Leech, Steen, Picasso and Moynan to name but a few! How wonderful it was to walk through those beautiful rooms lined with masterpieces old and new. Our guide, Gabi, pitched our tour right at the children’s level and we really enjoyed what we saw and learnt!
While we would have loved to stay longer, some little tummies were hungry so we headed off to Merrion Square for a picnic. We even had a few cheeky seagulls try to join us!! After our picnic, we went to the playground and had a fantastic time.
All told, it was great experience that I think the children will remember.
