About the Parents' Association

The Parents Association (PA)

The Parents Association (PA) is open to all parents or guardians of children enrolled in the school. It facilitates an active partnership and good communication between the parents and the school. The PA raises funds to support the school and provides additional resources for the teachers and classrooms. The PA encourages all parents to get involved in the life of the school and always welcomes volunteers to support and help with all PA activities and initiatives.

The Parent in each class nominate two “Class Reps”, who generally serve a term of two years. The Class Reps participate in the Parents Association, attend the monthly meetings and communicate any messages from the PA to the rest of the parents.

Monthly Meetings:

The PA meet once a month to discuss upcoming topics such as upcoming fund raisers, upcoming class activities or any issues relevant to the school. The meetings last approximately 1 hour. The Class Reps attend the meeting but all other parents and guardians are also welcome to attend. If there are particular topics you wish to be discussed by the PA, please email so it can be added to the agenda for the next meeting.

Examples of Activities Organised by the PA:

  • Social night – Wine & Cheese
  • Grandparents Day
  • Family Fun Day
  • 4th Class – Knitting/Crocheting
  • 6th Class – Graduation Lunch
