September was a busy month back to school. We read 'Grandad's Report on School' and discussed all the ways school was both different and the same for our Grandparents - from blackboards and chalk to having a fireplace in the classroom. We then wrote our own report on school and included all the important things we think children in the future would like to learn about school in 2022. We also used our predicting skills to brainstorm what we think school will be like in the future and what might change about school in years to come - the idea of a robot as a teacher was most common! We had great fun using our imagination. We enjoyed reading the picture book 'Grandad's Island' and made lots of great connections to our own lives.
