Oral Language: Oral language development improves reading, comprehension and social skills. With this in mind, we are starting book report presentations with the children. These reports will be orally presented to their class. Each child will pick a book they have read or a book that has been read to them. Your child could discuss:
- The plot
- Their favourite part
- Why they like the book
- Marks out of 10
- The characters
- Any information the have on the author/ illustrator

Poem: We’ve Got to Start Recycling
Take all your old glass bottles,
To the bottle bank in town,
So they can use the glass again
By melting it all down.
Don’t dump your old newspapers,
With all the rubbish in the tip.
Save them all, then put them
In the green recycling skip.
Don’t throw away your drink cans,
Their metal’s useful too.
We’ve got to start recycling.
It’s up to me and you.
