During the month of March, the whole of St. Mary's participated in the Active School's Run around Europe Challenge. This is an activity which involved running laps around our school every day. The Active School's committee members would choose a European capital city to run to and we would add up all the laps everyone ran to see if we reached these cities. Every week, the running time increased. We started off at 7 minutes and ended up at 10 minutes running time. The cities that we reached in Mount Eden were; London, Brussels, Paris, Copenhagen, Oslo, Kiev, Athens, Ankara and Berlin. Belmont traveled to London, Paris, Rome, Helsinki and Warsaw. Well done to everyone for their hard work and dedication. We hope you all enjoyed the "Run Around Europe" challenge. Remember; Run, skip, have some fun, Let's get active everyone!
