We have been learning all about spring in Junior Infants. We learned that the weather usually gets better (except for an odd snow day!), the days get longer, animals are born on the farm and plants begin to grow! We have painted spring flowers and made daffodils to decorate our classroom for spring. We also read the Very Hungry Caterpillar and learned how it changed into a beautiful butterfly. We even painted our own hungry caterpillars. As lambs are born in spring, we painted sheep on the farm.. We painted using bubble wrap instead of paintbrushes! We thought this was very funny. This week we are learning all about the garden. Today, we planted our very own sunflower seeds and we are excited to watch them grow over the coming weeks. We will post pictures of them here!
