Last week we were such busy bees! We created pinch pots in Art. We began our module of GAA. We learned about shadows in science. We are having so much fun and learning lots of new things every day! Take a look at our pictures to see us in action!
We went to Go, Kids, Go! this year and we had an absolute ball! We created lovely artwork using clay and we played together in the play area. We were so exhausted afterwards that some of us feel fast asleep on the bus on the way home. If that isn't a sign of a good tour we don't know what is!
This morning we had a visit from Dr Shine and Dr Walsh. They taught us lots of interesting facts about being a doctor and working a hospital. We got to see a human spine, an ankle replacement, a hip replacement and x rays! These were all replicas of course! We had so many questions for them and they answered them all very patiently. We also brought in our 'sick' teddies and Dr Shine and Dr Walsh operated a 'Teddy Bear Hospital'. This was a great way for us to see that going to the doctor is not at all scary and can be a very enjoyable experience. They fixed all out teddies and made them very happy. We had out reflexes checked and we got to feel the vibration from a tuning fork. It was a lovely morning! Thanks to Dr Shine and Dr Walsh for coming in! We also went to the Aistear room today where we had lots of fun role playing doctors and building hospitals. We love out them of Health this month and are enjoying learning so many new things!
We had a very enjoyable Zumba class for Active schools week! We loved moving to the music!
