There has been a lot going on in our Aistear room this month. we are learning all about transport. We have gone on train journeys to many places and learned all about trucks, tractors and cars. We have learned about old and new transport. Take a peak at our photos to see all the wonderful things we have been up to. We are working so well as a team in junk art and have created fantastic vehicles together. In our construction corner we have built the longest trains and the widest boats. We have been zooming around our track in the small world area. Our imaginations have run wild in the sand pit (which has transformed into a water area this week). We are going on adventures in our home corner on our train and this week, our boat, with it's very own sail and rigging! Phew! We have been busy in Ms Finnegan's class! Here are some photos of us in our Aistear room and of us doing some reading and writing in our classroom. We have been playing lots of phonics games to help with our blending, sound recognition and formation. We are working really hard to hold our pencils correctly and to form our letters correctly. We will update you in this soon! Enjoy!
You are very welcome to Ms Finnegan's Junior Infant class blog. We have 23 boys and girls in our class and we are all great friends. Our teachers name is Ms Finnegan. We are very kind to one another, we listen to each other in class and use kind hands when playing in the yard. Our favourite subject is Gaeilge when we take a trip to see our friends Niamh, Oisin and Teidi. We will be posting updates on all the fun activities that take place in our class. Please stop by whenever you can to read all our news. Happy reading!
