EXCITING NEWS!
This year 5th Class have chosen Sock Banks as their product for the Junior Entrepreneur Programme. Each year 5th Class in St Mary's participates in the programme. We have come up with lots of potential products and had a Dragons Den day showcase of all of them (Check our 5th Class page for updates on our J.E.P. journey so far.) This week we will be going around to all the classes in the school and showing them our product. They have all already seen our ads that we made to promote them! We are working really hard on making our business a success and we now need your support to ensure it is. Each Sock Bank costs E3 or 2 for E5. We feel our product is a great one. The designs are hand made and it's a great, fun way to save your money. Please support 5th Class in our J.E.P. journey, And remember... DON'T PUT IT IN YOUR POCKET......SOCK IT! It was a pleasure to celebrate Grandparents Day last Friday in school. Our grandparents were invited to a special service in church where we showed them our appreciation through readings, prayers and personal letters to them. We sang lovely hymns which the grandparents joined in with. They were then invited to have tea and biscuits in the Rita Kinsella Hall in Belmont and visited their grandchildren in their classrooms in Belmont. It was great to see them all on the day and to show our appreciation for them. It was also a great way to end Catholic Schools Week which we celebrated last week. |
