Mr. Keary

Congratulations to everyone who participated in the 'eat me' challenge. The students had to create a box which can fit in their fridge for items which are about to expire to help prevent food waste. Well done to our winner Sophie.
4th Class have been learning all about the lifecycle of a Sunflower recently. We Learnt about all the different steps before designing our own lifecycles. We even planted our own sunflowers.
4th class had a great time dressing up for Lá glas on Friday. :)
We studied Pompeii and Volcanos in SESE. We then decided to create our own volcanos using papier mache. It took us a number of weeks to complete the projects but it was well worth the wait.
Before midterm we covered the Celts. The children loved the topic so we decided to do an art lesson on Celtic art. Here is our pottery we made with Celtic designs.
4th Class made some very impressive projects. We worked in pairs to create country fact files before presenting them to the rest of the class.
4th Class had a great day dressing up for Halloween.
4th Class had great fun making and testing their own parachutes.
