Mr. Cody

Welcome back to all of our amazing 5th class students! We got some great work done in our first few days, including some fantastic history projects on
We had an amazing Sports Day in Bective Rugby Club last week, here are just some of the snaps! (The Tug of War faces of determination are my favourites!)
Our Active School Walkway officially opened in Belmont this week, with 1st class being the first to use it during map-reading and orienteering in PE!
We used clay to build fairy doors for the Active Fairies that will be using our Active Walkway!
Engineering plasticine boats in science this week!
Our caterpillars Tiny, Fang, J.J., Coco and Bella have all transformed into beautiful butterflies. We said an emotional farewell to them last Friday as we released them into the wild.
Our final butterfly undergoes a miracle metamorphosis before our very eyes! (we had to give him some privacy in the end)
Every class has been out running this week as part of Active Schools' Run Around Ireland Challenge. Over the next 4 weeks of school, we will virtually visit the many landmarks and areas of natural beauty around Ireland!
